SDAC Club Polo Marathon

Depending on the number of teams we rotate a team in every ten minutes. This gives every team 20 minutes of play then some rest and then back in again.

• Right now we try and utilize those people who are in the club who are, or have been, officials to officiate when they are not playing.

• While the scrimmaging is going on we make sure to have someone watching the east end of the pool so that our kids/grandkids can play in the pool safely.

• Instead of a potluck on the deck we have a snack luck where we ask people to bring items such as chips, veggie plates, dips fruit, cookies etc. We also have a couple of coolers with non-alcoholic drinks set up on the deck. We will set up a couple of tables and a Pop Up for the food and paper plates etc. 

• At the end of the day around 5:40 PM after clean up, we move to Fresco Pizzeria https://frescosd.com/ for the club social.  The location is right next to the High School. I have a tentative hold on their patio area which will accommodate around 100 people either eating at tables or just mingling. The place will work for both adults and kids socialization. The club will purchase the pizzas and members will need to purchase their own drinks. For adults there are a variety of tap beers and for the kids a variety of soft drinks etc. We just need to decide if we want to make this a family oriented social or just an adult social. (your input please). There are also a variety of salads and other goodies on their menu.

• We will forego the Halloween theme as it just adds one more thing we would have to figure out.

• At the social we could start an annual club tradition of presenting club awards (either serious or humorous or both). Not sure about music, but I will talk to them about if there is something we can do.must be an active member to participate
